Emmanuel Udeh presents Growing, a deeply personal exhibition that traces the evolution of his artistic journey both technically and emotionally over the past several years. Known for his powerful charcoal and graphite drawings that blend realism with abstraction, Udeh invites viewers into a space where growth is not just visual, but spiritual and human.

This body of work captures moments of quiet transformation, reflecting themes of memory, solitude, self-awareness, and resilience. Through raw textures, stark contrasts, and the subtle play of shadow and light, Growing speaks to what it means to change, to move forward, to return, to break apart, and to rebuild. Each piece carries echoes of the past while reaching toward a future still being formed.

Udeh’s approach is introspective yet universal. From his early experiments to his most recent large-scale works, the exhibition offers a rare view into the mind of an artist still becoming. With every paper mark, Growing asks, “How do we measure progress?” How do we know when we’ve changed? And what parts of us remain?
