SALON 18—Group Exhibition
Propeller Gallery, Toronto
July 2024

Propeller Gallery presents Salon 18, its annual summer group exhibition showcasing a dynamic range of contemporary works by emerging and established artists across Toronto. This year's edition brings together diverse practices in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media—each work selected for its bold voice and compelling presence.

Among the featured artists is Emmanuel Udeh, whose charcoal and graphite drawings explore the quiet intensity of observation and emotion. With a focus on expressive eyes and simplified stick-figure forms, Udeh’s pieces from his Silent Observers series examine what it means to be watched, to watch, and to exist in stillness. His contribution to Salon 18 offers a moment of reflection within the vibrant energy of the group show—a visual pause that invites viewers inward.

Salon 18 is a celebration of artistic variety, community, and experimentation. Visitors are encouraged to move through the space with curiosity, allowing unexpected connections to emerge between the works and their own experiences.
